Death Valley Cherry Soda Six Pack is a packaging redesign project focused on refreshing an existing soda brand through a new visual identity and structural package design. The goal was to reimagine the product while preserving its core personality, creating a six pack that feels more distinctive, memorable, and appealing on the shelf. The project explored how branding, illustration, typography, and packaging can work together to give a familiar product a fresh perspective.

The project required rebuilding the entire six pack structure from the ground up. To begin, I carefully measured the dimensions of the original package and recreated the dieline in Adobe Illustrator. Once the structural template was complete, I applied the redesigned graphics and branding elements to the package layout. The final design was then printed, cut by hand, and folded into a physical prototype, allowing me to evaluate how the
graphics functioned on a three-dimensional package and ensure the final design translated successfully from screen to print.

The redesign was inspired by the western landscapes and desert environments surrounding Death Valley. Warm color palettes, vintage-inspired graphics, and rugged typography helped establish a sense of place while reinforcing the product's bold cherry flavor. The design combines nostalgic soda packaging with imagery and visual elements drawn from the American Southwest, creating a brand identity that feels both playful and authentic.
